Stories of amused Cebuano musicale enthusiasts filled the roar at SM Cebu's Movie Theater after watching a rerun of Paul Ballano's "Ang Guro" last November 25. Captivated by the play's story line, students and teachers who watched from around Cebu left the theater with their nice to share stories and well --- I could probably say affection.

The play highlighted different characters and attitude of a --- I could say a "carefree" teacher who are into fishy and unethical works. Selling items during classes, scolding students, teacher flirting with his student, and enviousness of a teacher towards her student were few of the traits of an unethical teachers that were portrayed in the play.

Ms. Amelia Resontoc who was played by Karel Marquez in the story, a teacher looked upon by her students had shown that teachings aren't just found in merely a hundred pager book. That being a good model to the students and to let students learn from their downs in life is a badge of a good teacher. And that's the reason why counseling and giving inspirational advices to her so called "children" has been Ms. Resontoc's signature as a teacher.

Erric Hoffer said that "In times of change, learners inherit the earth," and its all probably because, the learners had been products of a good teacher.
