A blast of your favorite Filipino dishes are at slate to satisfy your personal cravings in the newest restaurant here in Cebu City as owner Stan Tanchan together with special guest Solenn Heusaff marks the opening of Choobi Choobi last July 6, 2013 at Parkmall, Mandaue City, Cebu.
Choobi Choobi is a Chinese word translated as "lingaw lingaw" in Cebuano. "Passion, it is passion that brought me to put up this business," said restaurant owner Stan Tanchan in an interview.
Choobi Choobi's house specialty is their Shrimp in Bag that comes in five different flavors --- Shrimp sa Gata, Butter Garlic, Whaah! - Sauce, Choobi Choobi Sauce, and Sauted in Garlic. Moreveor, the resto even produce their own shimps from their organic farm specifically nurtured for their shrimp dishes.
Food Food Food.. . "He who does not love food is on a diet," yeah i said so. But honestly, food served in Choobi Choobi are really distinct in taste with the rest of the dishes I've so far tasted. Well, I maybe young at 19 to say about my food tasting experience but I do have my taste buds working well.
Even the common lechon manok, I can even tell that the taste is different from your usual lechon manok. The flavor that sticks to the meat from the inside complemented with their perfectly well-seasoned sauce, it's just incomparable.

The night was filled with band performances, choobichoobi prizes, and raffles. Of course, the night would not have been complete without singer-actor Ms. Solenn showing off her singing prowess.
And of course, yours truly won't miss the chance to have my photo opt with my friend Solenn, huh! --- haters gonna hate.. . :) but the problem is I just don't know how to project the right smile when it's needed so this is what happened.
The store opens from 10am - 2pm and 6pm - 10pm from Monday to Sunday. The establishment can accommodate upto 170 pax on the second floor of the building and 140 pax on the roof deck for reservation engagements.
